The Launch

I officially launched my website (which I guess you probably already know if you are here reading it) and I have to be honest, I am pretty excited about it. I know it might not seem like much, but it’s kind of a big deal to me.

To me this is not just a website, it is another way for me to connect with people. A more direct way for me to connect with people. Of course I am all about other social media outlets like facebook and twitter, but there are so many things going on there that sometimes it seems hard to focus. Every time you click on something there is another distraction popping up steering you away from your actual purpose until ultimately you don’t even remember why you signed on…No? Is that just me?

As a result of that, when I was setting up this site I knew I wanted it to have a blog page. But I wanted it to have more than just that. I didn't want to just sit here yapping at you like I was so important everyone is just waiting to hear what I have to say. I wanted a way to interact with all of you. That is why not only can you leave comments on my blog posts, but I also made sure my website had a contact page and a guestbook. These are all great ways to interact with me and I assure you I will always make my best effort to respond to the emails I get through the contact page.

I know it is hard to keep up with everything...trust me, I know. I have four kids, a day job, and I write as much as I can whenever I can, so, to make things easier I also have the option to subscribe to my blog posts and news updates by email. Just sign up and when I write a new post…it comes to you.

Now, this post does not only mark the launching of my website, it is also the first time that the cover of my upcoming novel Defining Moments is revealed publicly. Please let me know what you think, you can read the blurb here:

The tentative release date is sometime in March, stay tuned here for more updates on that.
